Accordingly, we will ensure that appropriate measures are taken against unlawful or unauthorized processing of personal data, and against the accidental loss of, or damage to, personal data. These principles will be enforced by putting in place appropriate hardware and software based security measures (including physical entry and system access control, locks, alarms, firewalls, etc.). To optimize your browsing experience, a small data file, known as a cookie, is placed on your computer. Most big websites or internet service providers do this too. Cookies help the site remember your settings – language, font size and other preferences for how you want to view the site on your computer – so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to us.
On the webpage, we cannot tie any information directly to you. We see the flow of users on the page, we see what browser and IOS they’re using, what platform they came from and the location (city). We cannot identify users based on this. If you register for the newsletter, we see your email address, we see if you’ve opened the link and which links in the email you’ve clicked on. All of this helps us improve our services.
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org or visit your browser’s help menu for more information. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted.
What types of cookies do we use and how do we use them?
Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies. A persistent cookie consists of a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, which will be stored by the browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). A session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. The purpose of use of the various cookies is outlined below in this policy.
Cookies we use, but we do not send any personal information from/to:
We may directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Service. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user. For example, we use third party analytics which collects anonymous or pseudonymous data to provide us with analytical and statistical information.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
